The new 20p has a modern pattern on it. The back of the coin is the same as the older 20ps but without the date on it, the letters are more spaced out. My brother in law has one without the date on He's hanging on to it for now.
When they were first discovered the Mint was offering £50 to anyone handing one in but you could get up to £8,ooo on e bay for one.You would be lucky to get twenty quid for one now.
only a fool will take £50 from the Royal Mint when they can get up to £8,000 elsewhere for it.£50 is actually a good price now but it wasn't in the initial frenzy
LOL - but the first one on the list is selling for £56, several bids. Obviously people interested out there.
Just realised it was free listing last weekend which is probably why those high prices are on, otherwise they would have paid loads to list at a million pounds!!!
