Buying a Quality Climbing Frame

Hi All,

I want to buy a quality Climbing Frame for my children for Christmas that will stand the test of time.

The alst one I bought from a high street chain could not stand the riggers of time and lasted just under 18 months.

Does anyone know of a quality climbing frame that will last?

I don't mind spending the cash if I know I will get longevity.

Don't know which high street chain you got yours from but I've had an ELC frame for several years and it is still in good condition, not even rusty.
BTW my kids are too old for it now. I'm selling it if you are interested!

We bought a 2nd hand ELC one 10 years ago now, and have just dismantled it as it was getting rusty (screws only) and it was still able to take a bunch of teenagers who shouldn't have been on it, but handy to see into the dancing school next door! I've been looking for a swing for the 6 yearold that would stand the weight of teenagers also, knowing that they wouldn't stay off it as told, and the ELC one seemed to have gone down in quality, but the best range I have seen is TP they have them on ebay, and in selected garden centres/stockists. But I'd look on ebay if I were you.

I have just purchased a climbing frame from Climbing Frames UK. I have to say that I got a right deal on it as there was a 40% sale on the one I chose as it was an ex-display model.

The frame is made from Redwood which is a very strong and durable timber. The good thing with the kit I bought is that you can add bits to it so it is very modular. Among the extras I could of chosen were swings, slides, picnic tables, rock walls, trapeze bars, sundecks and crawl tubes.

Your kids won't know what hit them!

I checked out the high street stuff, this kit blows anything else away.
