Booking accommodation for just a Saturday night in Brighton is surprisingly difficult. Many establishments only accept bookings for a minimum of 2 nights at weekends.

If you like Indian food, my favourite Indian restaurant (in the whole country) is on Preston Street. It's called the Viceroy of India.

For Thai food, I'm rather fond of the St James Tavern. It's a friendly, traditional boozer with an excellent Thai chef. It's located on the corner of St James Street and Madeira Place.

If you want a good honest cheap fry-up in nice quaint surroundings - I recommend The Kensington in Kensington Gardens (north Laines).
