Last year or the year before there was a reality TV series about a Stone age community on TV . The community was beset by problems, (infighting, illnesses, poor conditions etc.) but it just seemed to disappear from the screens.

Did I miss an episode? Was there an explanation given? Did they just pull the plug on the whole project?

I think you must have missed an episode. It wasn't a long series, I can't remember how many episodes, but in the last one the experiment reached its natural conclusion, they were only meant to be there for a few weeks. All I remember is them burning some big effegy made from sticks (as suggested by the hairy druidy type bloke) to celebrate an ancient pagan festival and everyone going home friendly and happy on the coach singing folk songs.

Thanks Roger, I thought that they must have all got so peed off with the muddy ground and the rubbishy food that they just chucked it all in.
