My boyfriend is ginger with green eyes (his parents are not ginder, but both his grandads are. I have light brown hair and dark brown eyes, my parents are not ginger.

On my Mums side. Her brother and Sister are ginger. Her brother has three ginger kids. Her other Brother has one Ginger kid. My OH is Ginger. His Mother is ginger and so is his sister. His sister has two ginger kids....

I always knew I would produce a ginger at least once in my life, I have slight ginger tendencies and the father of my second child was ginger..............and yes I have a little ginnger boii!!! I Like it but feel sorry for him for the stupid stigma that society has attached to it.......know he gonna get teased and what not

Sorry, forgot to actual answer. The likelyhood of you having a ginger haired baby can not be predicted unless both parent have ginger hair. Many people in Northern/Eastern Europe districts are carriers of the ginger gene but this can be passed on for many generations until two parent with at least one ginger allele have a sprog.

Ginger X ginger + all ginger babies.
Ginger X carrier = half carriers and half ginger babs.
carrier X carrier = half carriers, 1/4 ginger and 1/4 non-ginger.

There are also many other factors which affect the intensity of the red colouring to the extend that there are some who have ginger body hair including the beard in males but have normal looking head hair.

Nothing is so black and white with genetics.

There is a saying. Two Ginger people should never go out with each other. People will just presume they are brother and sister...
