I have a real phobia. I went last week for the first time in 10 years....I had to have them cleaned this morning and I'm still shaking from the experience of it all !
Crazy cupid, but I know exactly what you mean. I'd had a problem for 2 years before I walked into the dentists last Thursday at 8am....I asked if I could register and they said yes. I could see the dentist at 4pm that day or wait another week. I chose to go that afternoon, otherwise I would never have gone back!!! Anyway I'm seeing the dentist tomorrow to get a crown replaced and that should be the end of that for a while. Fortunately he said the rest of my teeth were sound (phew!)
Good Luck with it cupid and dont put up with the pain for much longer....If I can do it anyone can! xxx
My doctor gives me diazapan when I have to go to dentist. If I dont have any I cant speak, shake all over go dizzy and cry, how pathetic is that ,and Im 65. Might be something to do with the fact that the school dentist, was a sadist. He pulled out one of my teeth when I was 6, and he gave no gas, which is what they used then. I never forgot the pain of that.
Snap beattie819, all my fears spring from the school dentist. He has a lot to answer for!! It is something of a comfort to know that you're not the only person petrified of the dentist...I thought I was the only one!
