Want to delete a Programme but can't

I just downloaded My Heritage.com because I thought I could do my Family Tree on line for free. Its not easy though and I decided to uninstall the programme. However when I go into control panel and scroll down 'uninstall a programme' it isn't there, so I can't uninstall it. And now when I open Mozilla firefox it seems to have taken over and a My Heritage page comes up instead of my Mozilla page. how can I get rid of it ? I have windows 7. Not technical by the way so easy answers. Thanks all.

I do not have the "File - Edit-View-History...........etc" line.

I've tried allsorts but to no avail.........:o(

Jack, just a thought. How long is it that you have been having problems with firefox. Think before that date and then do a systems restore.

I noticed a few months ago, if I'm honest..........but I've never needed it before now.
I wouldn't have a clue as to a date to restore it back to..........:o(

jackthehat. I had the same problem a few weeks ago and Imao gave me some help that worked for me, so it is worth a try.
Right click in the area around the searchbar.
A menu appears which says Menu bar, Navigation bar, Bookmarks toolbar etc.
Make sure the Menu bar is ticked and it should come back on
