over the Christmas/New Year of 1999 the Boss and I were on holiday in Sri Lanka in a fairly large hotel with about a third of the guests being Brits. On New Years Eve a local band were providing the entertainment and eventually they played Alice, the Smokie version, all was going well untill it reached the appropriate moment and virtually every Brit in the room stood and replied "who the fluffs Alice", it was totally spontaneous and kicked off one of the best New Years Eve's we've ever had
Didn't someone ask this a few weeks back? I answered the Birdie Song then, and it's the same tonight - closely followed by Agadoo....
