Is it just me, or is everyone a lot more happy and friendlier? The Pope, with his warmth and personality, has transformed the UK overnight.

I just wish he could stay a lot longer.

I noticed the uk newsreels didn't show close ups of the placards . On the other hand I have been watching foreign newsreels and they show that there were many protest placards. Our newsreels only mention protests in passing whilst the foreign ones say the whole visit is
controversial. W

The Popes visit was bequeathed on us by Labour complete with the bill. Catholic Tony Blair invited him and it was confirmed by Gordon Brown .

I'll say this for the Pope he's got stamina . Maybe it has something to do with having a thick skin. A bit like your's Thomas.
