Will her hair grow back?

My cousin lost almost all of the hair on her head over a 6week period. Docs say following a virus her hair follicles have "gone to sleep". She has had 2 treatments with what I think she described as a UV lamp and I wondered if theres the chance her hair will grow and when? Shes still got eyebrows intact.

Never known a virus to cause the problem, but I am not a Dermatologist.

The chances of her hair growing back depends upon the cause.

In my opinion, anxiety states are the commonest cause.

Will it grow back?................time will tell.

Thanks sqad. She was under a lot of stress with exams, sadly she didnt get the grades she needed for uni and has had to back to college. She had a rash all over her body right before the hair started to come out in lumps.
