What is the oddest thing that either you or someone in your household has ever brought home?

My oh went to a friend's house on Friday evening and came home with a full scale replica anglo saxon helm like this one:

I have just had to polish the damned thing (jokes about polishing my blokes helmet will be expected)

My ex wife worked in film and theatre and her house when I moved in was full of freaky props, skeletons, aliens, a stuffed dog, a severed hand and an oil painting with holes in the eyes- she was totally mad:)

She's a seriously lovely woman but very 'unusual' in her furnishing ideas- she once tried to pesuade me to buy a boat and cut the front off it to use as a bar in our lounge, she had ideas of a viking longboat effect thing, totally nuts but in an entirely good way:)

It isn't supposed to look grubby but his mate's wife refused to polish it at all and his mate was just too lazy to do it himself.

There used to be a brand of pub where you could buy the bric-a-brac and after a few pints it seemed like a good idea to buy some framed Tibetan carved doors. They hang on the wall in the dining room.
Nothing too exciting - I went out to buy a black skirt for my granddads funeral and came back with a five year old German Shepherd/Labrador male from the dog pound instead.
an easy mistake to make wolf.
I went out to buy a sofa for a flat I'd just moved into and came home with a pool table!
