I cannot get any hot water. My pilot light is on and the central heating works. My boiler is a back boiler so I cannot really look at it. The hot water cylinder is upstairs and all the pipes in and out feel cold. Anyone have any idea whats wrong?

just checked another site www.how to mend it.com

their answer is it could be the pump as the central htg is gravity fed .does that make any sense.

Thanks Rayman, have checked the site out. Looks like you are right - either pump or valve. Unfortunately looks like a job for a plumber.
