Prime time TV is allowed 12 minutes of advertising per hour, most other shows get 9 minutes of advertising per hour. The rest of the time may be taken up with programme trailers, but ITV cannot show as many adverts as they want to create revenue.
there's about nine minutes of programmes between adverts I believe - and as to why, how else do you think they get the money to make and run these programmes?
tell me about it £145 a year for a tv licence,you should have a choice of a telly licence with adverts or without,but thats how they make there revenue..b******$ to that..pardon my french
