 I was born in the rain of the ponchatrain, Can't beat that louisiana moon.I don't mind the hurricain, she comes around every june. High black water shes the devils daughter, shes hard, shes cold and shes mean. But, nobody taught her that it takes a lot of water to wash away New Orleans.

Yes, this is Leon Everette -  'Hurricane', cracking track but with the events of the last week or so, it makes it a very poignant song indeed. Mother Nature really does hit hard sometimes doesn't she?. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people of New Orleans and the surrounding areas.
