There's a song that I used to have as an mp3 and then lost it and I've been unable to locate it again. It was tagged as House of the rising dub (of course this could be incorrect), I can't remember the name of the artist. Previous searches for House of the rising dub return a version by International observer, this not the version that I'm looking for. Now the only clues I can give is the song begins with some guy saying "I got one foot on the platform, one foot on the train ect it is in a dub reggae style and based on House of the rising sun (no surprise there !) there are police sirens in the middle section. Sorry that's all I can remember about it. I'd appreciate any help with this. Regards. Gordon.

Have you looked on Youtube? I know Gregory Isaacs did a cover of House Of The Rising Sun (the original song the lyrics you mention come from). Maybe there was a dub/roots reggae version as a B side etc...
