Does anyone know if it is true that a member of Green Day has been taken to hospital?  If so, where did they hear it and which member of the band was it?  Thanks =)

There is nothing on the BBC nor on the band's official site, so it seems you've probably heard wrong.

Just been on the bands site, turns out one of the band has an illness but it doesnt say any more than that...

someone told me a couple of weeks ago that Billie Jo had throat cancer but I couldn't find any mention of it anywhere so I think it's just one of these weird stories that seem to come out of no where (freaked me right out I've been a major fan for about 15 years)

Apparently Billie Joe doesn't have throat cancer (thank God) just a throat infection...had to cancel two shows as he's not allowed to sing for a while.

i heard that billie joe had strep throat...but i couldn't find anything supporting that so....i have no clue
