Somethings gone a bit wrong on my pc. For some reason, when I want to start in Normal mode, I now have to choose selective startup, when I want to start in safe mode, I have to choose normal startup. It should be the other way round. How can I get it back to normal?

sounds like the boot record is corrupt maybe?, easiest way is to just reinstall windows i'd say.

Thanks Sniper. I have to reinstall Windows anyway. I'll just have to use it like this while I wait for my new XP disc to arrive.
