Do you and your partner do nice things for each other? Such as sending a nice message just to make them feel good or buying something you think they would like for no reason. We've been together 2.5 years and I still do all sorts of nice little things for him but he rarely does. (not that he's not nice in gereral). Is it just a man thing?
my bloke did something great for me lastnight but way too rude for a public forum. I dont get presents and wouldnt want him wasting his money either and i feel saying 'i love you' everyday becomes meanlingless
I'm Always buying Mrs incredible random things, only yesterday I bought her some new J cloths and bin liners even though she didn't need them, mind you I completely overwhelmed her last week when I surprised her by buying some upper lip hair removal cream! She cried for and hour! Bless her.
Oh my god Milly, you sound just like me!! I'm always saying its the little things that count etc. I'd love to get random text message (coz I've told him they make me feel nice) but he says what's the point because he'll see me when he gets home and we can chat then!! They just don't get it sometimes I think!! And yes, I do nice things for him too just because I can. Annoying isn't it?!!!!
milly be careful...yes I think it might be chick flick itis you have....think about the whole person before you decide that you want him to change as if you ride this he might go altogether.
yes i run my other half a bubble bath most nights and if he has gone to work early he will leave me a nice note and a rose picked from the garden . Some men often need a hint now and then like " it would be nice if you could occasionally......."
PS the question you have to ask yourself before you accidentally lol show him this or do anything else is "is this behaviour a deal breaker" if yes then tell him if not, let it go.
No, course it's not a deal breaker. I love him very much and am used to his ways. It would just be nice to have the odd nice gesture. But I would rather just have him without them if that's the only option.
