A colleague at work's car won't start, she's got no AA cover, an no way of getting home. What should she do?

If she rings either AA or RAC, they will cover her there and sort her out.

does she not have a friend that could tow her or is it too far

does she have a friend that is a member, as through the AA tits the member they deal with not the particular members car. so if she has a friend thats a member she could use them (by saying your friend is giving them a lift) to get the AA to start the car or tow it to a place where she can have it repaired
