Hope everyone is well! After that awful thread last night, I'm still here, saw a post that I was suspended, may have been then, but not now!............I wasn't drunk either, just annoyed to say the least!...........have now resolved to ingore all the rubbish!......... However, I want to have a celebration for my forthcoming birthday, it's a milestone one!....I want it to be for the whole family, little ones of 3 and 4 will be attending, and I want it to be different, maybe themed...............any ideas please?...........

Not ready to retire yet Mrs C, I enjoy my work so far, when I don't, then I'll think about retiring!.............it's tiring! but I enjoy what I do, so will carry on for a bit longer!................May take more holidays though!................

I work for Welfare Services for the Elderly, I monitor benefits, visit our clients to make sur that they are getting the benefits they are entitled to, and make sure that they get the help needed..............

Well Mrs C, hard work, but very rewarding, so will carry on for a bit longer!........enjoy my work, have lots of good friends who are also clients!.........would miss them all if I retired now!....................

Welsh, me neither, now we don't have to retire at 60 I am carrying on for as long as they'll have me. Yes it is more tiring - pacing yourself is called for - but as long as you still enjoy the job that's the main thing. I still love my job, I wouldn't want to give it up yet either!

I bet you would miss them. I'm just thinking that you must've had a long working life and it might be time to start taking it easy. Still, as long as you enjoy your days, that's what matters.

Are you hiring a hall for the forthcoming bash? I quite like the idea of hiring a house in the country for my rellies for a special occasion. We often go away on family holidays. Only thing is, there's hundreds of 'em .... I'd have to hire a mansion! (There's not that many really, it just feels that way sometimes).
