ok in relation to my earlier question i will be totally honest about one aspect i have hidden.
i was out that night with my two freinds all 3 of us are GAY men. we were out frequenting the many bars and pubs that are in the soho and charing cross area. i was parked in charing cross in a disabled parking bay as i have a disabled badge due my medical condition. when i left the last bar i went to i returned to my car which was parked in the bay on charing cross and sat there for a few minutes reading a paper. ia guy knocked on my window so i wound it down and started speaking to the guy i really thought he was someone who i met in one of the gay bars as he looked familiar when i opened the door to let him in he opened the back door and got in with a woman i said to him did i not meet you earlier he said no so i continued speaking to him and the lady when it was then that i agreed to take them to tower hill and they said they would give me 15 pounds to do so. now the place i parked was a disabled parking bay and i was not waiting around a club looking to tout so please do not accuse me of that especially you ethel, if me taking someone home and them agreeing to pay is illegal i accept that because i did not know that was wrong because i have taken home freinds and people i met in the bars home because i do not drink i am sometimes the designated driver and they sometimes say ok we will share the petrol money because they live out of my way. but i did not tout them to get into my vehicle this is a misunderstanding in me thinking the guy was someone i met earlier and me being a greedy buger and thinking ok thats an easy 15 pounds in my pocket but i did not tout them

LOL.
(i did read the other thread as well)
dude, dont take strangers home in your car, is the lesson here,
but fwiw, youre looking at a fine, worst case scenario.
but when you go to court,
mention youre gay and disabled right at the end of the proceedings , and i reckon youll get off.
my best mate is in a wheelchair, hes gay and hes black.

I need some advice please. Recently i was returning home from central london when i stopped over nr oxford st junction with tottenham court road for some food from the macdonalds. It was 3.20am. When i got to the restaurant the security guard told me they closed 20 mins ago. I began walking to my car when i stopped to cross t.ct rd. Whilst waiting to cross a man was walking towards me gazing upwards and looking lost. I dont know why, but i said to him, 'you alright mate?' he replied' im looking to get to kings cross, im lost'...i informed him he was walking in the wrong direction and that he needed to turn around and walk the other way. He then said 'im not from around here, im trying to find my hotel, and i cant work out where i am'. I asked him where he had been, being friendly, when the traffic was clear for me to walk to my car. Instinctively i said to him 'come on, im going past kings cross stn on my way home, il drop u off at the station and you will get your bearings from there.' He seemd very grateful and thanked me. As we approached my car he pulled out a warrant card and identified himself as a police officer. He informed me he was arresting me for 'taxi touting'. I was flabbergasted, initially i thought it was some kind of wind up but i soon realised it wasnt. He made me sit in the back of my vehicle, handcuffed me, and began scribbling on a notepad. He then asked me to sign it at the bottom. I refused because i said to him this is not the time or the place to sign statemnts, in the dark, in my car. He duely arranged transport for me to go to the police station. During police interview he claimed i approached him and asked him if he wanted a taxi. And that he arrested me for this offence. He agreed we spoke for a short time by the side of the road, he also agreed that he claimed to be lost and not from the area. I asked in interview if he agreed that no money was offered by him or asked by me, to which he had a panic look to his face and he reluctantly ag
