I have taken ABERS advise and had it fitted by Gas Safe fitters, glad I did, they said the fitting from the wall was upside down and have made an excellent new and easier to get at fixing. cost £65 plus £6.50 for the new rubber hose and copper piping. Thanks chaps.

good for you ,better to be safe than sorry,i paid £65 to get mine done seems alot of money but at least its done properly and you know its safe:)

if you think thats a lot of money then try british gas ! or try comet or currys who charge £95 but only connect to an exisiting point and if theres any problems or pipework that needs altering they won't do it.
