FRIDGE FREEZER NOT WORKING PROPERLY
9 Answers
A friend has been told that her fridgefreezer will not work properly unless it is a room with a little warmth.
Surely a fridgefreezer would work better and more efficiently in a cold room?

If the temperature in the garage drops to below the normal temperature of the fridge section then the compressor will cut out and may not come back on for hours (or even days!) and in the meantime the freezer section will warm up to the same temperature as the outside, which is not normally cold enough for a freezer.
