soo thirsty!

help i am sooo thirsty, ive drank loads of water but the same amount comes straight back out the other end!!

say i drink one glass of water... 5 mins i need the lou, i drink another glass of water 5 mins later i need lou again, done this about 5 or 6 times now or even more, whats going on? im stilll thirsty/..... im eating fruits tooo .

Be grateful, at least you know your kidneys are functioning as they should. Also, fruits have diuretic tendencies and so would contribute to you peeing often.

It's all those biscuits..... perhaps you've got a cold coming, I have, it's making me very thirsty.
Plus, the more it rains, the more I wee.....

thats so true society, i have eaten loads of rubbish today!! maybe my body is getting rid of the rubbish inside me?

boxtops i do have a cold, :( the cold was worse last week but was getting better this weeek but today i have a stress headache if that makes any sense

yes it does, good then that you are drinking, flushing the bugs out of your system! - at least the headache's not down to dehydration then ;-)

maybe nip into lloyds chemist one day when youre next in town and have a diabetes check..?
continual thirst and frequent wanting a wee is one of the symptoms.

Its weird that I find that water doesnt ever quench my thirst, squah does though. I'm always really thirsty after a chinese with the amount of salt they put in it

4getmenot, its the MSG that makes u thirsty, chinese food uses alot of that in alll food, if u ask them to minus the msg it wud stil taste as good. because they also use salt and soy sauce!!!!

yeah you might be dehydrated cus of the cold,
they always say drink lots of fluids dont they,
so of course then youre bound to be tinkling a bit more often..

when youre feeling a bit better, maybe just nip in the chemist for a finger pr!ck test,
it only takes a second, and they will advise you.

How old are you, WB, and where are you in your monthly cycle?

It sounds to me that you NEED a Diabetes screening test. My boyfriend has type 1 and when his sugar levels are running high - he gets un-controlably thirsty and pee's every 10 mins or so.
Fruit is naturaly sweet - that may bring the blood sugar levels up.
Chinese food was mentioned - Sugar is added to alot of their sauces - if it turns out that you are diabetic regular chinese is not a good idea.
