Sonny, I'm entitled to my holidays and tv like everyone else!
Doc...they shouldn't have any more kids but what about the woman with 5 kids who's husband has a good job. They don't claim benefits and never have. Then he decides to walk out on them..?
^ I'd make sure I was a widow....
I often wish the pencil pushers would come out into the real world and actually TALK to people.
Lol....scary woman :-)
Not you pasta...
Pasta they never do
I have no problem at all with the benefit cuts for certain families who just keep producing children with no consideration of the cost to the tax payer. I am retired now and paid all the dues that were in exiistence at the time I was in employment. I also was left in the 80s alone with 2 kids, I didn't claim benefits, I got off my arse and worked 3 jobs.
I am sometimes ummmm....but not usually on here... ;-)

I look at all the single mums around here...and I know none of them have worked a day in their life...and maybe never will. Makes my blood boil.
Is there not a way they can look at your work history when deciding the level of benefits?
Puss, me too nearly! I was alone with 2 kids, I also had 3 jobs, scraped by really, but never claimed anything!...........We got by!.......Wasn't easy, but my kids have a really good attitude, they were always taught that what you want you need to work for, and bless them, they do, and always have!.........

Are we going to go back to the days of The Deserving and The Undeserving Poor?
most of them have never even made it to being a milk monitor
The trouble is that the government don't want to means test, it costs too much! so they are doing it this way!............Cheap and very unfair!.............
My oh has just changed job so that he can work 4 days a week and be at home more to look after me, he will be earning 12k per annum (gross) and I don't earn at all due to my illness. If the average wage is 21k someone should tell that to employers here in the NW. Even when he worked full time he was only getting 14k (gross) working in a bank. We would actually be better off on benefits as our rent and council tax would get paid for us, and we would get free prescriptions and dental treatment.
Havent read but have always had an opinion on this I know personally 2 and have read of others who through guilt sponsor a child from a 3rd world country from the child benefit they receive but dont need,I personally think it should to JK to divvy out;)
Now thats not right (in realiity) so good on Osbourne -it was never gonna be popular but its fair.
