With computer-generated imagery it's amazing what can be done these days. You have to suspend reality for the advert, because it claims that the car is doing 35mph, but it's a Nissan Sunny, and I've never seen one doing more than 30mph, even on a motorway. I don't believe that they are capable of 35mph so there is clearly some trickery going on there.
i totaly agree with you guys but the British speeding/drink driving adverts are tame compared with Australian ones i only got to see them on Tarant on tv but they are horrific in the detail they use.Th one that sticks in my mind is a drink driving one you see a guy having a drink in a bar then a dad playing with his two boys the drink driver sets off the phone rings the dad answers it and the drunk driver mounts the curb flips over and crushes the little boy to death it ends with the father holding his dead son and a message saying one more?Say no.
I take it that no-one on the mainland has seen the drink driving advert that has been doing the rounds here in NI for a while then? The one where the little kids are playing football in their garden and then you see a young guy playing sunday league and then going to the pub with his mates for a few, then on the way home he swerves and rolls the car into the garden crushing the kid? Truly shocking.
