domino games ratings

Being new to the net I started playing dominoes. Not being sure how to score my ratings  were terrible and did not know they were being logged. I have now picked up how to score and have started to win some games but I dont do the rated games again till I get better How long will these ratings  stay on screen I dont suppose there is anyway they can be deleted.I have been told if you dont play rated games for a few weeks they are automatically erased. Is this right.Thanks

! see three possibilities: the ratings are tied to your IP address (which is unlikely), the ratings are tied to a login name (in which case, get a new login name), or the ratings are tied to cookies (in which case, just delete your cookies - unless you're using WebTV, in which case I can't help you).

TO JENSTAR  thank you for reply   i have had a look at cookies but i   am going   to have someone else   try   this as i do not know what i am doing  but it willbe a week before i get back with a reply  its not a big problem if it doesnt work but i will try it thanks

TO JENSTAR. We have tried cookies but they dont delete the dominoes ratings,yes changing login name would do it but it does state ratings will be erased after awhile if not used so it is best i stick to the unrated games till i can play without making stupid mistakes thank you
