afternoon all,
i had some blood tests done last week and the results have come back saying im aneimic.
i saw the doctor yesterday who said theres nothing to worry about, but i need to do 3 pooh samples, so they can rule out there being any blood present.
im then to start a course of iron tablets, have another blood test in 3 weeks time and will go from there..
now, my question is a bit embarrassing lol.. but how much do you need to place in these sample bottle thingies please?
thank you! ;o/

What was wrong with him that he could fill half the bottle?
what ? the sample should have been from her.................
Sandy it wasn't lemonade colour or even Tizer coloured.
I'm glad they don't use returnable bottles any more
i think you still get glass bottles of "ginger" that you can return and get 10p
Go on a short diet of hard-boiled eggs, mashed potatoes and non-filtered coffee then you should be able to produce 'buckshot' - far easier to handle (possibly with a cocktail stick).

ohhh we are scraping the bowel a bit now!! ... sorry, i meant barrel :o/
reminds me of my first ward day as a student nuse having been told how to do a poo test for blood which in those days meant scraping a sample onto a piece of blotting paper and dropping two different liquids on it and looking to see if there was colour change... we did the test and I looked at her she looked at me and we burst out laughing...(we were both mature students in our early 30s) Well... I said If I'd known I'd be standing in a stinking sluice room watching sh1t turn green I might have chosen a different career...
She wet herself and had to do the rest of the shift in net incontinence knickers
