Thats just what we had for tea tonight, Cut 4 1 inch thick slices of a white Bloomer, lightly buttered, cooked half a pound of smoked streaky bacon til crisp, a couple of leaves to each sarnie of crisp Iceburg lettuce, toppef off with thinly sliced beefsteak tomato's a sprinkle of salt and you then have a B L T.
The most popular sandwich in the Essex area.

Poodi - lettuce in the sarnie is better than neaps and tatties - we southerners have to get our 5 a day any way we can LOL
Just be your usual self Poodi, we all understand you. :-)

I don't eat bacon.
