How can you transfer your E:mails to your hard drive

any help would be appreciated.

If you're viewing your emails by using what many people would regard as the 'proper' method (i.e. by using a dedicated email client, such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail or Thunderbird) they're already on your hard drive.

If you're viewing them by the generally substandard method (unless, of course, you're in a location which is remote from your home PC) of accessing a web page to see them, you'll need to copy the text of each email and paste it into a Word document (or similar).

Gmail allows you to download all your emails via settings - offline.

If you are using Outlook or Outlook Express, you can just drag and drop each mail to a folder on your hard drive.
