I have a Canon EOS 300x SLR which although I love I don't use much because of the fuss of getting films developed. Someone suggested I trade it in for a digital SLR. Would a camera shop do this without it being a terrible throwaway of money? I've only shot about 6 rolls of film with it.
Any advice appreciated.
IMO the best reason for switching to digital photography is the fact that you can shoot, shot and shoot and be more experimental without wasting expensive un-erasable film, then you can home-edit on your computer without going anywhere near a darkroom. The end results are far more in your control, exciting and error free.
AP you are right and that is exactly why I want to switch but the Canon cost a fair bit and I'd feel guilty about 'throwing it away' if you know what I mean.
