Smelly football boots!

Not mine, my son's! I have used Odor Eater spray but this only seems to last a little while. Can't use insoles because it makes his boots too tight. Is there anything else I can to to get rid of the smell? TIA

CRAPMEMORY.
NIKE MERCURIAL... ..
i mentioned to a store and they was aware of the problem and some people had returned theirs.
his new 1's seem ok though.
if you buy some more ask for the new design and mention the problem and the sales assistant should know what you're after and not after.

yelenots i've played football for over 20 years and therefore know what is common smell and what isn't normal.
football trainers/boots don't smell like cats wee....
take them back and you don't need a receipt as goods are faulty and not satisfactory, but this is only as long as you've returned within a reasonable timescale (but law doesn;'t state what reasonable is)
