Cheap young driver's insurance

does anybody know of any reasonably priced insurance companies for a 17 year old male? my car is very small and not powerful which i guess will help find cheap insurance.

Endsleigh used to specialise in student insurance and I had my first car insurance with them (25 odd years ago!!). Don't know what they are like now, but worth a try. http://www.endsleigh.co.uk/

www.elephant.co.uk, best by miles.  I had student possessions with Endsleigh, but their car quote was a joke.

i have just trawled through hundreds of sites for insurance and elephant was by far the cheapest (over 120 quid cheaper)
