Do I leave my Job after been given and Ultamatium
8 Answers
Last year My manager made infactual complaints about me and I became suspended for 2 months to which I raised a grievance against them and the company for Bullying, Harrasment etc and both got upheld and my discplinary I recieved a Improvement note, I returned to work as usual and now I seem to be facing the same situtuation. I havnt reached the required target for the campaign required due to numerous outside my control factors which my boss is not accepting and apparently 3 staff whom 1 I fired and 2 quit has complained about me but the company will not give me any information on them and visited me the other day my boss came to visit me in the team house and asked me I if wanted to resign or cont and be confronted with disciplinary, and wanted an answer by yesterday, I have responded saying this is unfair etc and now he is saying it was a private convo, even though I have copied in his boss. What do I do? Any advice would be useful.

No disciplinary or warning is a private conversation, it should be recorded on your personnel file. Have a word with ACAS - it's free - http://www.acas.org.u...x.aspx?articleid=1410
Thanks for your advice, Ive gone ahead with the hearing but it got adjourned as the person holding became opinionated and I flaged it up. Unfortunatley we have no, well limited HR resources and the complaints have been dropped as the were no grounds, but now theyre trying to get me for underperforming, Im now seeking Tribunal Action and taking on more legal advice. With regards to sticking my Job, Its sounds like a great idea to it, but i would rather leave with my dignity at least.
Seriuosly, You dont understand this company, Im on contract employment and my staff are Self employed, and its a door to door job. Like I said the complaints were dropped and there were actually only 3 not 5 which all had no grounds and I had the right to let go, for being didhonest and not turning up 2 work. I have in total 38 Staff since the begining of this year as they are temporay contracts, and only 3 complaints, come on no ones perfect either way. My point is the company has a habit of pushing people out and so far Ive known of 3 constructive dismisall cases in the last 2 years of whom all won, and this company as any does not like people standing up for the rights. I agree with you Vagrant, that is the cold reality, but Im not a person who just quits and gives up, but in the meantime I'm looking for work elsewhere.
