Only get the odd one slinky and I just put the Phone down on them. Promises of riches out of the Blue is just Pie in the Sky and too good to be true.

My filter system invariably means they don't talk at all.
Big Sis has been known to swear at them after the umpteenth call in the day.

I don't get them, except when I talk to our IT support in India - they are unfailingly polite, very good at their jobs, and speakl excellent English - so no problem.

I usually greet them with "Namaste" - that way they treat you better :)

I ask them, very impolitely, not to call again, right before I bang the phone down.

A tell tale sign is a gap of silence while their machine kicks in. If any call starts silently, I automatically hang up.

All depends on who the call is coming from. International could mean any country, and I have many siblings and relatives living overseas.
