Mike I must have been mad, I used to beg to stop for my school dinner and get quite upset when I had to pay when many of my friends got 'free dinners', my Dad worked so I had to pay my dinner money, no wonder my mam preferred me to come home eh?

I loved school dinners! Chocolate sponge and (green) mint custard was my favourite.
