Hi guys....Just back from a holiday in Folkestone & Canterbury.Spent a day in Hastings, 1066 and all that, The pier has been completely destroyed by fire. Not a very nice sight...

You should have given me a ring John. I'd have met you in Hastings for a beer. The poor old pier is a very sad sight at the moment but hopefully not beyond repair.
