there arent any blockades- neither is there going to be any. there should be no fuel shortage but people have created one by panic buying. its crazy
isnt that what the protesters want, panic buying so that they get the message across that the government takes to much tax in the first place!  ? i think its mad that th e oil prices go up and down as quickly as they do, but if the gov had a flexible taxation system then they could keep the price of petrol at a reasonable rate.

I guess the goverment must have made a packet in tax yesterday, all the garages around my way sold out of petrol by early afternoon.like you say taemoon CRAZY.
I guess people will be panic buying in the shops next - no fuel = no deliveries, especially for the small traders. Why don't people stop and think
That's tabloid Britain for you.  I won't be filling up until I'm down to the red line, like always.  Protests will do nothing anyway - like Gordon's gonna say "hmmm, you have a point - I'll cut tax, cos I can do without it!"  Also, oil will never get cheaper, not until we get more dinosaurs to turn into fossil fuel.
