Would a low cost laptop be able to run World of Warcraft?

I am thinking of getting my son a laptop in the near future as he needs one for his studies but he also spends a lot of time playing WoW.

I am not set on any particular model yet but am looking at spending approx £350.

Would a laptop suich as this cope with WoW?

Look on the WoW DVD case at the System requirements. Then compare against the Lappy that you want to buy. Simples !

I did look at the box but it only says 'ATI radeon 7200 or better' which means nothing to me.
All that particular laptop says is 'Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M, up to 1695 MB total available graphics memory'.

Stay away from intel graphics cards for any gaming.

The ATI 7200 and Nvidia GeForce 2 (the minimum recommended) are fairly old cards now so any new ATI or Nvidia card with dedicated graphics memory should run it fine

Did a quick Google and found several sites discussing a similar topic and it would appear that the 4500M gfx card will allow it to run.

Found a similar spec'd lappy on Argos but with a 17" screen for £333 which sounds an incredible deal.
