You won't lose weight just living on salads. There are plenty options on healthy eating foods .Grill everything have plenty of fish and chicken .Cut down on bread You can have mostly everything by just cutting down as I always say cut out the fat and the crap. You will soon put weight back on after you get bored with salads .I have lost nearly 2 stone by eating healthy . I have the odd treat which helps you to stop getting bored. There was a thread in body and soul but that has now been transferred to Health and Fitness. You will get a few ideas there and join us with your ideas and losses and gains I am sure it will help.
