What are the feasible renewable fuel sources available to power personal transport (cars vans etc.) that are either available now or will be in the next 5 years?

Don't know about renewable but orange oil could be a possible source(and other citrus fruits)....it has a higher calorific value than unleaded (Which has 7.5 million caloies per litre) and is largely unused when you consider the amount of fresh oragne juice we consume.....engines can run on basically anything with the proper modification with might be a better solution than radical new fuel sources.
Ooh I should cut down on my unleaded petrol intake while I'm trying to lose weight then.
There was a recent item on the Jeremy Vine Show (R2) about running diesel cars on used cooking oil

I'd heard about the cooking oil one but I'm sure that there were some problems with it (apart from from your car smelling like a chippy). Orange oil sounds like a go-er but would the supply come anywhere near the amount needed?
Did you watch Scrappy Races (from Scrapheap Challenge?) That Green Goddess' (diesel) Volkswagen Beetle ran on cooking oil with no modifications. And ran resonably well. The drivers were rubbish though.
Orange oil - what a joke.
Sunflower Oil, LPG but H2 is being well experimented by with GM but using Sea Water Cells which then have the H2 Extracted the only emition is H20 and i think Water is Renewable i think there aint oceans of anythink here.
