I've got some pictures in my head of a western I must have seen when i was a kid. all I remeber about it is that this one guy was forced to make TNT or nitroglycerin in his makeshift lab so then the villains could break into banks and open vaults and all that stuff western bnaddies usually do. in the end the lab hut exploded. any ideas?

Think it might be Sergio Leone's A Fistful of Dynamite, 1972, starring James Coburn as an IRA terrorist trying to escape his past in Mexico and teaming up with Rod Steiger who plays a Mexican freeing political prisoners, they team up against a sadistic Mexican Officer.
