New posters

I thought that new posters' names appeared in green to identify them.  So how come mattinator90 and t_os_538 are in black and can get away with their childish posts?

Yes, it's sad enough to ruin serious catagories with stupid posts, but to set up a new account and leave it for 2 weeks till it's not green any more before you start, shows an incredible ammount of spare time and lack of social life, dont you think?

Maybe user names should stay in green until the users have made a certain number of posts - 10, for example - regardless of how long they've been registered ?

I was just thinking that today Aquairel! Hurrah!

However, I would suggest more like 50 or 100 posts.  However, this then may encourage even more inane posting. 

I think the answer may well be, that those of us who don't like the way the site is evolving, just don't bother visiting so often.  As ABE says so often, the point of the site is that it evolves and that it is what its users make it.
