Not sure - looks to me as though the toe sole ends before the end of the toe of the shoe - if you get my meaning.

I can't see anything sticking up as such.

Oh - not another one of these bag & shoes ads? Not so nice shoes then. Crap shoes in fact. And they are definitely shoddy and things sticking up in places things really should not stick up....

B00, no, I think it's just the sole doesn't come all the way out to the toe, possibly to lessen the chance of it getting wet in the rain. Means your toes would be dangling a millimetre or two.
