It will always cause problems. There are literally thousands of forum problems you can see on the web documenting it. It likes taking over.
I used it for a while on an old Win 98 PC. Never again.
Get Thunderbird and stick a few addons and customisations in it. You will not look back.

Gill I emailed a friend re. this topic & this is his answer.
Hi Ron,
I read the comments about INCREDIMAIL. I have used it for some time and like all the backgrounds you can get. Like the wall papers you get with magentic. I have stacks of folders with lots of important information in them. The 'guy' who said it was infectious was using a computer of limited memory. I say to him get something with lots of 'gigs' and you wont notice.
I am going to need a lot of persuasion to get rid of mine I like it very much.
Best wishes.

I agree with the general opinion that it's a pile of poo. all it does is add unneeded gimmicks to email.
Might be fine for a 13year old! but I don't understand why any adult would want to plaster pretty backgrounds and other junk over an email.
There is virtually unlimited information on the internet about problems that incredimail has caused for people and it's not just problems caused to the person that has it installed, you are likely to be causing problems to the people you are sending mail to as often more standard, mainstream, mail clients refuse to open incredimail programs.
I also think it's very selfish to force other people to use up their bandwidth by sending them mails with so much junk attached to them.
