Hi all.
I've been using BT Vision quite happily for a couple of years now, but suddenly the volume on the TV needs to be turned right up to hear the audio. When I turn the Vision box off to watch the tv direct the sound level is deafening and scares the living daylights out of my 92 year old mother. Is there a way of adjusting the sound level, I can't find anything in the settings menu.

Thanks in anticipation

because your tv volume works ok it suggests to me that the BT box has developed a fault, I suggest that you get the BT engineer in, after all that's what you are paying their service charge for. Ron.

I presume you have used the volume buttons on the BT vision remote to turn the volume up on the bt vision box?

Chuck:- The BT Vision remote is configured to work the tv as well as the bt box, so the volume buttons work the tv volume control.

In the time since I posted this question I've been on the radio and telly forum pages and have found this problem has been around ever since bt vision first came out and there is apparently no pot. in the box to adjust the volume levels and no way for the user to do anything. I suspect that it might be adjusted by the software updates that bt send down the broadband line when they really want to muck everything up.
