just paid for my tv licence, any reason why it its only valid until 30 September 2011? shouldnt it be 22nd October?

So your 12 month licence is for 11 months

If you buy a car on the 20th of say June and tax it for a year it'll be due for renewal on 30th May so it's not just the TV licence.
