The Guardian 'wider perspective' advertising campaign

Does anyone remember The Guardian advertising campaign during the 1970s?/80s when a white man is chasing a black man. It's supposed to look like the white man is a policeman chasing a black criminal. However this is a misconception as it is actually two policeman chasing an unknown third party.

Do you know where I can find more info. about this particular ad? Any website addresses? images? etc

I've asked this question before, but still I'm unable to get any more information.

Hi, yes i seem to remember a series of them, "The whole Picture" campaign. I think what they where called, They where made by Metacafe.com. here is one on Youtube, but its not the one you mention, but i do recall that one .

Just to clarify - the campaign was not made by Metacafe.com; they operate a website to upload videos in similar fashion as, and in direct competition with, Youtube.com.

The Skinhead 'Points of View' ad as linked above was produced in 1986 by The Paul Weiland Film Company for BMP (Boase Massimi Pollitt) - now rebranded as DDB (Doyle Dane Bernbach).

Hi...I too have been looking for the white man (policeman), chasing the black man (who also turns out to be a policeman) for ages...It seems you posted this a while back, so I'm wondering whether you've had any joy? I could be wrong, but I'm sure the one we're looking for was more recent that the 70s/80s - actually, I thought it was a Times campaign in the 90s, but like I say, I could be wrong...Anyway, I'm desperate to find it for a piece of work I'm doing, so any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance...
