Oh dear, I may have to do some chores this afternoon as even I managed to do this while listerning to the Archers! Only had to look up a few things. No doubt you regulars will have finished in about 10 minutes. Bit disappointing really.
Yep! I have to agree with you there. I've been to Church today and not been back long and have over 1/2 grid full. With-out aid either. Not much harder than a daily.....
Also not to sure about the usage of the same 'letter' to make up two clues - though they cross paths. I suppose the editor thought it was OK???
Yes, fairly straight forward as you both say and no earth shattering denouement - but that leaves time to look again at the Listener which is on its last legs but not being particularly satisfactory either!
Yes, when I can get this done while mostly paying attention to a football game, you know it was not one make you break out in a cold sweat (sorry, had to beat DocHH to the puns). Missouri beat Oklahoma in case that did not make the front page of the morning papers over there.
That must be college football, dr b, we would definitely need the magnifying glass to pick up those results. The h-g is a Buffalo supporter from way back.... it is amazing how many not good years they are managing to string together!
Hello everyone,
I agree it was an easy grid population! Having found the theme, I started exhibiting the symptoms that would liken me to one of the 7 Dwarves, but others seem to be sufficiently upset at the simplicity of this EV to be another of them!
I didn't start a post as after being stalked last week, I thought I'd hide! Definitely time for a glass of my preferred wine!
Server problems kept me from downloading the puzzle, but once I got going it was pretty straightforward.
Some of the Scottish words were a bit obscure but Bradford helped as always.
Well done again.
Your odds could be even worse next time out as I'm going to jump in too!
I've asked William Hill to advise me whenever the 'old man' runs.
