Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced laptop with 15.6 " screen

Depends what you need it for. If it is just for normal use then the Acer Aspire range is very good and well priced.

Agree with daff - I'm using one now and I love it! (For more ideas try the Computeractive website reviews - lots of specs and advice.)
